# Test authorization

**Description** This endpoint can be used to verify that the authentication credentials are being sent correctly.

**Use Case** This endpoint allows you to verify whether the token obtained from the [Authorization API](/v1-api/apidocs/authorization-2) is functioning correctly, independent of other factors such as incorrectly assigned roles or missing permissions.
